Hi, my name is Sam, the owner, designer and face behind Chimpanda Bakes and this is my story…
From a very young age I’ve always been interested in baking. I have many memories watching my mum baking away in the kitchen and I would always be eager to pull up a chair and get stuck in. I particularly loved getting covered in flour and eating all the leftover mix. (I mean who doesn't like licking the bowl ha)
My initial plan wasn’t to start a cake business however my creative side began to take over when I started making cakes for family and friends. I then started to teach myself new exciting techniques and watched as my creations came to life bringing joy to my loved ones special celebrations. Soon after I made the jump and started ‘Chimpanda Bakes’.
Working to a high standard with a perfectionist attitude, I pay close attention to every little detail, resulting in my customers never been left disappointed. I’m always looking for ways to build on my skills through Online Training Courses, Supportive Facebook Groups and YouTube tutorials. I am fully registered, insured and have a 5* food hygiene rating.
When I’m not busy making edible creations I am spending time with my family usually running after with my little boy Kit who is a very active little monkey.
